The lamps only need to be replaced after approximately 1000 hours of use (20min/wk = 8yrs). Replacement lamps are available. If you are considering using UVB narrowband lamps, always ensure that the lamps are Philips TL 100W/01 UVB (17%) which are most effective lamps currently avaliable for the treatment of Psoriasis, Vitiligo and other skin diseases.
